Booking Conditions
In order to confirm your session date, I will require a deposit, which is non-refundable.
- as the weather can be unpredictable, on occasions I will need to re-book your session for another date, so please be flexible
- I shoot in a minimalistic, natural style - so please look through my portfolio first to ensure I am the right photographer for you
- My ethos is all about celebrating your natural beauty, therefore I do not alter your appearance in Photoshop. I will however remove any temporary imperfections if necessary.
- I ask my clients to pay extra attention to what they wear as this can make or break a great photoshoot. I am happy to help with any styling advice
- Your photographs will be stored in the online gallery for 3 months, so please make sure you download your images to your own device
- your images could be shared on our website and social media sites and used for marketing materials. If you would prefer not to have your images shared or used, please notify us at the time of booking
When will I receive my photographs?
It can take up to three weeks to process and edit your images. For any printed media it could take longer, depending on the type of product you order.
I am not photogenic, I never look good in photos
There is no such thing as photogenic people. There are people who know their best angles and who know how to pose and show their best features. And there are people who don’t. My job as a photographer is to capture you in the most flattering positions.
What if I don't know how to pose?
I will guide you throughout the session, so you don't need to worry about posing. It's my job to find your best angles and poses, so that you can just enjoy the moment.
I don’t know what to wear, and how to put outfits together
My sessions are all about you, not your clothes, so I recommend outfits that are simple and neutral in colour. I will advise you on the colour scheme, and will give you examples of suitable looks. My clients usually send me photos of potential outfits and I help them with selection and styling. I have completed a Stylist Course, so I am competent in this area.
What’s the best time to have a session?
I normally shoot in the evenings 1-2 hours before the sunset, because at this time I get beautiful soft light which is the most flattering for portraits. However, I can be flexible to fit in with your lifestyle.
Do you do indoor sessions?
Home sessions are great for capturing the true essence of your family life. They are particularly great for new mums or anyone who likes a relaxed and homely atmosphere. I am happy to travel to your home, but anything over 5 miles of King's Lynn will have a charge of 45p per mile.
Do you organise photo days
Yes, I organise themed seasonal photo days where I offer a number of short 20 minute sessions in one day. For example Christmas Minis, Mother's Day Minis and so on. Watch out for any announcements on my social media channels.
